Some of my personal goals for 2009
- Focus Words: Love, Peace, Gooness, Righteousness, and Cheerful Diligence
- Invest in good every day. Jesus went about doing good. Acts. She does him good all the days of her life. Proverbs 31
- Review my day as I drop off to sleep and think about something I'd like to accomplish the next day. Pray about it.
- Review my health and appearance and tend to it.
- Think about things that are true, noble, etc. Train my thoughts to be cheerful and to set about my chores cheerfully -- to remember how much my husband depends on me to keep the household functioning. He actually depends as much or more on that now as we've gotten older, because he has more responsibility elsewhere.
One should not be assigned one's identity in a society by the job slot one happens to fill. If we truly believe in the dignity of labor, any task can be performed with equal pride because none can demean the basic dignity of a human being. Judith Martin

- I adore being a wife to my dear hubby and a mother to two grown children and their wonderful spouses. I have loved reading and story-telling ever since childhood. In college, I majored in Journalism and minored in French and English literature. Since then, I have been a part-time freelance magazine writer and public relations writer. I also dabble in fiction, and I won an award for a novel proposal.
